ABOUT US
At West Fife Pods our aim is for you to have a fantastic holiday in a luxury glamping pod, whether it be for a night or a week. The pods are set in magnificent countryside with amazing views and brilliant walks on your doorstep.
Niki and Eric are the home owners and we live in Muirhead Farm which is next to the pods. Because we love the area so much, we wanted to be able to share it with others so we got two holiday pods, Ben Buck and Ben Cleuch - both named after the Ochil Hills which is your view from the pods!
If you want to check availability or have any problems booking (or just have a question) please call or text 07854175480 .
We look forward to welcoming you to West Fife Pods in 2024!
PS, the photo below is of us with our (now not so small) pups, Pickle & Olive. They're now slightly bigger, but love their cuddles even more!

Sophie
We absolutely loved our stay!! The pod was fantastic and Nicky and Eric couldn’t of been more lovely and helpful. The setting is simply stunning and the interiors of the pod were beautiful. The little touches such as the dog treats for our dog, the bottle of fizz and the farm fresh eggs were the cherry on top of our stay. Will 100% be back.

I enjoyed the most magical 2 nights in Nicky’s pod. It was utter bliss. The pod is so comfy and cosy with underfloor heating and so many sweet touches like providing juice, milk, chocolate and marshmallows. Even my dog Alfie was provided with treats! I loved watching the sunset whilst roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. I loved walking in the woods and waking up to the rolling countryside outside the door. I didn’t want to leave. Nicky was the kindest host and already I’m planning when I can return. Thank you for an unforgettable few days xx

Brilliant stay. Very Dog friendly. Lots of amenities. Considerate hosts. The pod is comfy and cozy inside with a lovely landscaped BBQ area with romantic lighting outside. There is a large private field which we had access too and it was perfect for our dog to walk and run about in the mornings/evenings before a busy day traveling around Fife.

A gloriously peaceful & comfortable gem that I know I will be returning to soon and more than likely soon after again. The pod is beautifully fitted out with everything provided. Thank you to Niki & Eric who joyfully greeted me when I arrived and are responsible for me having a wonderful few days with my dog.

THINGS TO DO
Culross
Culross is a small historic village that is a 30 minute walk from Wets Fife pods. There are activities to do in the village and a great pub, the Red Lion Inn. Some weekends there are markets and we'd be happy to let you know what is on locally when you visit.
Edinburgh & Glasgow
We are located in Central Scotland so access into Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 40 minute drive. We are also 15 minutes from Dunfermline and Stirling (in the other direction) so getting about during the day is not an issue.
West Fife Woodlands
The West Fife Woodlands walk is on the doorstop of the pods. You can either walk through to Devilla woods and explore the four lochs or head straight into Balgownie Woods. A walk can be a quick 20 minutes or you can even make a day out of it and do the loop between the woods and down along to Culross!
Knockhill Racing Circuit
Knockhill is a famous racing circuit in Scotland. Located a short drive away you can attend events or even take part in them!
Ochil Hills
The Ochil Hills are located just outside Stirling and are the hills you see from the pods. There are various walks you can do on and around the hills. We would recommend good walking gear to go up Ben Cleuch as it is very steep! But you can't beat the views on a beautiful day.
WEST FIFE WOODLANDS
We are lucky enough to live on the route of the West Fife Woodlands Way which is a 10 mile marked route around the West of Fife.
Spend your day wandering through various woods in the area, or just a quick walk along what we call "the yellow brick road". The woods directly adjacent to us is Balgownie Woods and you can walk through Valleyfield Woodland Park, Devilla Forest, with a loop through Culross.
